Review of Code of the Streets 17th Anniversary
To be honest, I was very disappointed. Mainly because it was my birthday and ads for the event looked good for it.
Unfortunately there were 4 DJ’s, all oblivious of the crowd. The whole vibe needed lifting. There could have been a party atmosphere, there could have been fun, but the music never built up, and only one room operating in the end, because people left in droves. They could have kept peeps there if they’d mixed up the music a bit, and connected with those that were there.
Never even saw Queen Bee, she must have buzzed off early too.
The event’s been going for a long time so I guess this time I was just very unlucky to choose it for my big ?0.

Review of Basement 45
Really nice venue, staff very helpful and polite even if
It’s the answer you don’t want, but the lady on entrance security is in unnecessarily rude and a downfall of the security team. The rest of the team were so polite, but the woman was rude from the outset, I’d avoid this venue to avoid speaking with her, but the rest of the team so helpful even when directing you how to fit the venues guidelines. If it’s possible reward the rest of the team as they are exceptional with her as the exception
