Zutekh this Friday with Dinky, Matt Tolfrey and Midland

Zutekh's November outing sees the esteemed party crew bring their first ever female guest to the Sound Control basement to headline perhaps their most musically diverse event yet.

South American spinner Dinky will be bringing her rhythmic techno and rolling basslines to the industrial edged basement space, joined by Leftroom boss Matt Tolfrey and future house hero Midland. 

Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Alejandra Iglesias A.K.A Dinky discovered electronic music through Ricardo Villalobos back in the early 90's. Inspired by generations of house music, she has developed a sound that jacks, twists and turns in all the right places, keeping her crowd firmly locked to the dance floor. Today she's a resident at Berlin's Panorama Bar and plays regularly at the likes of DC10, Fabric and Cocoon, whilst releasing bombs on labels such as Cocoon, Ostgut Ton, Wagon Repair and most recently the Time to Loose It EP on Visionquest.

Joining her at the best equipped party basement in the city for Zutekh's November outing will be Matt Tolfrey, who has been insistently pulling and pushing at the boundaries of house music in the UK for the past 10 years Not only a DJ but a tastemaker and label boss for his family of imprints - Leftroom, Leftroom Ltd and Foot and Mouth, Matt has honed his own musical tastes and unique style of solid house music alongside his studio partner Inxec, to create a UK sound that is taking over electronic music.

Completing this impressive winter line-up is Phonica's Midland. After his debut collaboration with Ramadanman on Will Saul's Aus imprint and his own 'Play the Game' on Phonica both dropped, Midland has exploded onto the electronic music scene. He followed up in 2011 with some seriously strong releases, notably 'Through Motion' and his remix of Mano Le Tough's 'Baby Let's Love' which have redesigned the format of the future sound of house. His deeper, atmospheric sounds make for the perfect way to kick this party off.
