Denise Ward
Perhaps the organisers of this event are unaware that The Countryside Alliance (until name changed by market psychologist Bettleheim) was the British Field Sports Society and is a one issue organisation in support of bloodsports. Their directors and committee members consist of large landowners and property speculators or similar, all bloodsports fanatics linked by title and association with the Royal Family who have similar tastes. They have done nothing whatsoever for ordinary people in the countryside. Their organisation is extremely influential and powerful and is now trying to win a PR war by stealth to persuade the public to accept chasing and killing wild animals with packs of dogsfor pleasure before David Cameron repeals the Ban on it, as he has promised to do.71% of rural dwellers want foxhunting to remain banned because it is violent, contrived and repulsive activity which brings chaos and distress and suffering to the countryside. The arguments they present about 'wildlife management' are completely spurious and bear no relation to facts about wildlife or their motivation.
Why are they appearing at this event?
