The Warehouse Project confirms its stay in Manchester

After months of speculation, The Warehouse Project have revealed that 2012 will see them remain in Manchester, with full details being announced in January.

After a fantastic five years at their beloved Store Street venue, the pop up club will move to its new home in 2012 - and although the venue has not been officially announced yet, The Warehouse Project hint at it on this eflier:

The Warehouse Project announced back in July that the 2011 season would be their last at Store Street. In a statement they cited the need to keep things fresh and evolving as their reason for moving on. Read the full statement made back in July here. Since then, speculation about the new venue has rife, with many people even suggesting that the club would leave Manchester altogether for pastures new. 

But in an official statement released today, The Warehouse Project deny all speculation of a move from Manchester, saying: 

"With The Warehouse Project at Store Street finishing forever after the huge New Years Day event, there has been a lot of talk about what will happen next year. We can now confirm that despite rumors of a move to London, The Warehouse Project will be staying in Manchester. We have found what we think is going to be a great backdrop for the next chapter...

"The first preview events of the new venue will take place in the first part of 2012.

"Full info will be landing at the end of January.

"Thank you to everyone who has made the five years at Store Street so special.

“For twelve weeks this city is ours” 

But of course there are still a few weeks to be enjoyed at Store Street before The Warehouse Project leaves this iconic venue forever. So let's make the most of it!
