Spooktacular, the iconic Halloween-themed fairground, returns to bring fear, fun and frolics to Glasgow from today, up until the end of October. The fair has something to offer for all the family whether you are as brave as the lead in a horror film, or just a bit of a scaredy cat.
Situated in the green car park at Silverburn, Spooktacular is set to be frightfully good fun. Guests can expect thrills, spills and chills with attractions including a wide range of exciting rides, spooky photo opportunities, and fang-tastic food options.
From thrill seekers looking for a spine-tinglingly frightening time to ‘little pumpkins’, the fairground truly has a spooky sensation for everyone, and with a host of the most exciting rides on offer, it will not disappoint, with all 20 rides included in all wristbands purchased.
As darkness falls across Glasgow, the Ghost Train is sure to give visitors a fright, as they make their way through things that go bump in the night. The iconic Waltzers will leave your head spinning and wanting to go again and again as you spin out over the undulating floor.
Get yourself in a spooky double spin with Twist - a unique twisting motion circling round and round, perfect for waving those hands in the air or taking a trip across the ocean on the Miami Trip, which rotates in a circular motion as the speed increases.
The Freakout Ride is a stomach-churning ride that spins riders around in their seats while they soar through the air on a large pendulum. Hang upside down and hit lots of G-forces on this gravity-defying wild ride.
The Matterhorn is a high-octane and exciting fairground attraction that is sure to get the adrenaline flowing, the blood pumping and the heart racing! Sitting in one of the carriages, riders are spun around and swung in and out over the 'Matterhorn' valley at breakneck speed.
The Jumping Frogs are non-stop thrills from start to finish with different bounce sequences throughout guaranteeing no two rides are the same.
For a less scary experience the Frozen Coaster will give the ‘Little Pumpkins’ their first taste of a roller coaster but as the hungry caterpillar races around the undulating track, will he get to eat the big apple? Or bounce around with the Kangaroos, with riders feeling like they are sitting in the kangaroo's pouch.
No funfair would be complete without the Teacups which are colourful, traditional and loads of fun for everyone.
The Circus Train, Bungee trampolines, Race-o-Rama, Mini Chairs and Funhouse are also rides you can look forward to at Spooktacular this year.
Spooktacular tickets get visitors unlimited access to over 15 rides for the duration of their four-hour session, alongside access to a range of photo opportunities, food and drink, paid games and many other attractions, and you can book them now, by clicking or tapping - HERE
