Preview: Gorilla Club & Mute! present Pirupa

The guys at the highly acclaimed Gorilla have teamed up with Manchester party starters Mute! to host one of the most accomplished and talented producers in the underground dance music industry today; the mighty Pirupa.

Date published: 21st Mar 2013

With only three years in the business, Pirupa has been turning heads with his prolific production of forward thinking, boundary pushing releases.

The much loved Italian producer and DJ has topped the Beatport ‘Most Downloaded’ Chart on numerous occasions and has been involved with releases on such well established labels as Defected, Desolat, Area Remote, and Audi Therapy to name a few. He’s also remixed tracks by industry giants like Sharam and Jamiroquai, and is widely regarded as one to watch by those in the know.

At Gorilla he'll be playing one of his trademark sets that willfully stroll between genres, including tech house, deep house and even techno, resulting in a non-stop joyride of booty shaking thrills. Regularly DJing next to huge names like Pete Tong and Steve Lawler, as well as his tracks being supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Luciano, James Zabiela, and Richie Hawtin, it's pretty clear that Pipura is becoming something of a big deal.

With him showing no signs of letting up, we can hardly wait to see what else the young Italian has in store for us. Make sure you’re there to catch one of the hottest talents gracing the house scene in recent years.

Playing alongside him will be the mysterious EXHiBiT, Bump, and London minimalist, house, and techno duo Thick As Thieves, all capping off an incredible night of House, Tech House, and hedonistic pleasure.
