Kendal Calling Reveal Main Stage Headliners

Chase & Status (live), The Cribs and Blondie have been confirmed to headline the Lake District festival!

A firm Skiddle favourite, the small but ever-so-perfectly-formed Kendal Calling just gets better and better each year.

And 2011 is no exception, with the announcement today that iconic punk band Blondie are to close this year's festival, with Chase & Status and The Cribs headlining Friday and Saturday consecutively.

Tickets for the festival are already selling fast, and the Emperors Field camping is completely sold out. Today's announcement is sure to speed things up even more, so we'd recommend getting your tickets quickly!

More bands announced today are The Whip, Young Knives, Nero and Middleman, who join already announced acts Echo and the Bunnymen, Beardyman, The Levellers, Mr Scruff, Tim Burgess & Mark Collins (Charlatans) and more!
