Hey guys, hope you?re doing well! For those who don?t know who you are, where are you from, and at what age did you begin your career in the music industry?

Fran ? I am originally from Dublin and I have been involved in the club scene since I was 16 when I put on my first club night ? that?s 22 years ago now! Haha, showing my age a bit there.

Luke ? I?m from Derby and I guess I have always been into music and have been in bands when I was a drummer and DJed since my earlier teens, not as long back as Fran though ?

Rhys ? I?m from Wales and the youngest but again it?s the same with me ? I have been doing music since I could walk and talk really, my Dad was in a band and I grew up around musc

What inspired you to chase a career within the music industry? Also, when did you first realise that you wanted to take-up music on a full-time basis?

Fran ? I have always loved music then I went to my first rave in 1991 and the atmosphere was incredible, everyone was so friendly and I just felt like I belonged. That was it, from that moment on I was hooked I bought my first set of 1210s and started buying records every week.

Rhys ? My Dad helped me to learn how to play the piano when I was still just a kid, once i could see how people were happy when I played a song I was hooked, still to this very day seeing thousands of people going crazy to our records ? there?s no other feeling quite like it.

What sacrifices did you have to make to enable you to pursue your career in the music industry?

Luke ? We have all risked everything to follow our dream, only four years ago things were really hard, we were getting records knocked back left right and centre. I think most people would have just giving up but we all decided we were going to do whatever it took to make it. Even now after the two of the most successful years we are working even harder than before

As producers, how would you describe your typical sound in your own words?

Fran ? High energy and big impact, we always aim to make people happy, we want them have a good time!

Rhys ? We make tracks that we feel are rocking, if they don?t make us want to go crazy we just bin the track and start again. You would be amazed the number of tracks that come out of our studio sessions that we feel just don?t make the cut .

You?ve been releasing hit after hit this year, with support coming from artists including Deniz Koyu, Showtek and Hardwell, what do you think your best track of 2015 has been? Why?

Luke ? Velocity is the one that stands out for me because I was stood over the light and sound rig at Ultra in Miami when Hardwell dropped it for the very first time and seeing the 80,000 raver going crazy was one of the best moments in my life!

Rhys ? Me too, but I have loved all our records, they?ve all stood out in their own way and we have some HUGE tracks ready for next year.

Fran ? 2016 is going to be our biggest year so far and we can?t wait!

You?ve also got a collaboration with Sweatbox favourites Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, how did you all come together to work on a track?

Rhys ? we were hanging out in Miami in March and we decided to do a collab so we sent them an idea over, they loved it and the final result was huge. But as is sometimes the case with these records, it has never been released ? but then Steve Angello was smashing it in his sets so we we?re pretty happy with that! It goes off every time we drop it without fail ? it is, as they say, ?FIRE?.

You?re also scheduled to return to Sweatbox On Boxing Day this year, during the festive period, do you prefer to play the club nights or do you prefer the festival sets? What?s the difference as a DJ?

Fran ? We just love playing full stop. The big festival crowds are incredible but so is a small and intimate club, once we are behind the decks we are happy. You?ve obviously got to play a slightly different set depending on the size and scale of the venue, but playing in a smaller club environment gives us a chance to show a different side to us for anyone who has only expected us at a festival

As you already know, the Sweatbox crowd is always rocking, the Liverpudlian?s are renowned for being passionate about their music, how do they compare to fans from around the world?

Luke ? We love playing in Liverpool ? awesome place and awesome people! Plus Fran lived in Liverpool for years so we have lots of close friends we get to see as a bonus.

Will you have something special planned for your performance at Sweatbox because of it being Boxing Day? Do you plan your sets of just go with the flow/feels from within the crowds?

We edit almost every track in our sets now, we will have some absolute weapons for Boxing Day you can

Be sure of that. We don?t really plan sets, we usually have a few options to start with and then just take it as it comes from reading the crowd ? you?ll know within two or three songs which way the crowd wants to take things, then it?s a case of going on the journey along with everyone else

Finally, if you could go B2B as a surprise with any other artist performing at the event, i.e. Corey James or Dubvision, who would it be, and why?

Fran ? Corey is amazing and has had an incredible year but it would have to be Dubvision, we have been HUGE fans of their music for so long it would be an honour to play B2B with them. However we would smash it with Corey as well, hometown style
