It's been a glorious summer on the White Isle, but the time has come again for Ibiza's world famous clubs to close their doors for the winter. But before the sun goes down on Ibiza 2012 there's still time for one final plunge into the party pool - in the form of the annual Closing Parties.

The Closing Parties are the culmination of the Ibiza season, celebrating four months of world class clubbing at this global party epicentre. For those lucky sun-seekers flying out to help the island bid goodbye to another summer, here's our guide to some of the best closing events in Ibiza.

The 2012 Closing Parties

Thursday 27th September:

Luciano at Ushuaia

Luciano draws a very successful season to a close with fellow Cadenza label mates Michel Cleis, Mendo and Alfonso Leon. Together the Cadenza crew have been on hand all summer to create many a special moment, and you can look forward to a mega party as they celebrate their achievements. Luciano has also invited house legends Masters At Work (Little Louis Vega & Kenny Dope) along to join the party. Expect plenty of sun, sexy Latin grooves, busty costumed dancers and plenty of confetti, fire and the occasional blast of ice – do keep your ears trained on the music however or you might just get lost in all the theatrics!

Hot Creations Presents Paradise at DC10

Jamie Jones and the Hot Creations crew wrap up their season with help from some big names (albeit a bit random) including man about Ibiza Solomun, DC10 favourite Cassy, Jackathon's Heidi, Fabric's Craig Richards and Viva Warrior Darius Syrossian. Yes, it is starting to sound less and less like a Hot Creations party, but it seems Jones has curated a mixed line up in the hope that there's something for everyone. He takes over both rooms of the most hedonistic club on the island for the first time since the party began earlier on in the year, and will showcase that Hot Creations sound many of you have all come to love alongside Richy Ahmed, Miguel Campbell, Robert James, Russ Yallop and Digitaria (Live). Jamie Jones himself will also be performing his first ever live set which is sure to be something special. These guys know how to party; prepare to have mega fun, and don't be surprised if they throw an afters in Playa d'en Bossa (most likely at La Plage...)

Friday 28th September:

Music On at Amnesia

When Marco Carola announced he would begin his own residency this year at Amnesia, to say we were all excited would have been a bit of an understatement. He has destroyed the dance floor of Amnesia's Terrace every Friday since early July with his punching, driving techno for what was meant to be a ten week residency – luckily for you guys, the party has been such a success that two further dates were announced and the closing party was pushed back. Joining Carola on the Terrace is fellow Italian Leon and his arsenal of party techno tunes, whilst Joseph Capriati and Amnesia resident Mar-T host the Main Room. Again, listen out for an after-party over in Bossa (most likely at La Plage if the Hot Creations gang go elsewhere/don't host an after-party at all...)

Sunday 30th September:

We Love at Space

We Love end a mammoth 17 week marathon this Sunday as the world renowned brand throw their final party of the summer. Expectedly the line up is massive, with a range of live sets and DJ sets from a long list of the nights major players. La Discoteca will host a Born Electric showcase, with live performances from Modeselektor, Shackleton and Mambotour, to give a very eclectic mix of all things techno, house and electro, whilst We Love favourites James Zabiela and Simian Mobile Disco will also take to the stage for one last time this summer. The list of We Love regulars goes on, as Groove Armada headline La Terraza with support from Hot Chip (DJ Set), The 2 Bears, Paul Woolford and PBR Streetgang. Catch many more residents across the remaining three rooms, and if you get the early enough look out for a set full of classics from one of We Love's longest residents Alfredo as he goes back to back with his son Jaime Fiorito.

Monday 1st October:

Cocoon at Amnesia

Papa Sven and his Cocoon comrades need no introduction. Next Monday sees the closing of Cocoon's 13th year at Amnesia and the line up is of course a whopper. Sven Vath himself headlines the main room as per, and will provide the perfect rendition of the hottest tech house from the Cocoon world this summer. Cassy joins Vath with her own interpretation of the Cocoon sound crossed with her deeper vibes, whilst Paul Ritch plays live. Onto the Terrace, and the Closing would not be complete without those high profile residents that have been a part of most of the parties this year: Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Raresh and Onur Ozer. We think Villalobos and Raresh will get together for one of their b2b sets which if you've seen before, you'll know is a treat! Combine this with Loco Dice's outrageously energetic Desolat tech house and stick Onur Ozer as the cherry on top and you've got a very exciting scenario. Keep your eyes pealed for another after-party! This one will most likely be at La Sal Rossa, again in Playa den Bossa.

The clubs : The Big Four

You don't need us to explain the reasons why you should get yourselves down to the following clubs as they close their doors for the last time this season, so we're not going to. Quite simply, here are the line ups, and if you're doing the four club marathon, prepare to smash it!

Amnesia

Saturday 6th October

Matinee host the main room, but we're not too bothered about that. Get yourself to the Terrace and set up camp there for the night... Music On's Marco Carola headlines, with support from chief Viva Warrior Steve Lawler, house music legend Danny Tenaglia, deep and dark Cocoon man Maetrik, and a handful of Amnesia residents including Mar-T. There's no real place to chill out in Amnesia; hopefully you've had a little training as your fists will be pumping from start to finish.

Space

Sunday 7th October

Space are yet to reveal their full line up and its already looking pretty damn good! So far, set to perform are members of the Kehakuma crew Nina Kraviz, Radio Slave and Guy Gerber (live) alongside head honcho Nick Curly. Nic Fanciulli and Joris Voorn will also be there as they perform one of their special b2b sets like we saw earlier on in the season, and a bunch of Space's own residents like Wally Lopez have also been confirmed. Expect a few more additions to perform both inside and out as they re-open the outdoor car park arena especially for the closing.

Circo Loco @ DC10

Monday 8th October

Still no line up, but you know you'll be there... Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement expected in the next couple of days. DC10 is the one, and if you've been before we don't need to tell you why! If you haven't then you ought to be told, this one should NOT be missed.

Sankeys

Tuesday 9th & Wednesday 10th October

After being voted number one club in the world by DJ Mag in 2010, Sankeys decided it was about time they set up shop in the clubbing capital of the world with Sankeys Ibiza last year. They got off to a rocky start, struggling to create an impact that would push them up there with the rest of the already highly established clubs across the island. However, 2012 has seen them rise from strength to strength with hugely popular parties including weekly residencies from Diynamic, Viva Warriors and Carnival and we now consider Sankeys Ibiza to be up there at the top alongside Ibiza's best. To close, across 24 hours, 24 DJs will play over all three rooms of the club to end this year's season once and for all. Feast your eyes on this...

24 Part 1 – Alex Picone, Antonio Piacquadio, Darius Syrossian, Enzo Siragusa, Guti (Live), Luis Groove, Matt Tolfrey, Shlomi Aber, Steve Lawler, Tiefschwarz, and 3 X special guests.

24 Part 2 – Cajmere, DJ Sneak, Ellesse, Todd Terry (Acid House set), Solomun b2b H.O.S.H, Miguel Campbell, Heidi, Bones, Soul Clap, Baby Prince (Wolf + Lamb), No Regular Play (Live) and Nick Monaco.

And the rest...

If our pick isn't quite right for you for some strange reason, Ibiza being Ibiza, there is plenty more to be going on with. Other closing parties across the two week period that you might want to check out include Pure Pacha All Gone Pete Tong, Next Wave @ Privilege, Kehakuma @ Space, Privilege Closing, Ushuaia Closing, Carnival @ Sankeys, Zoo Project and Cadenza @ Pacha.

However you decide to do the closing parties, enjoy! You're in for the time of your life.
