The UK's wildest farm returns to Sound Control this Friday, for a unique recorded event headlined by techno heavyweights Layo & Bushwacka.

The absolute dons of stadium techno in the UK, Layo Paskin and Matthew B formed out of the ashes of The Shamen in the mid nineties and went on to dominate the scene with a bunch of seminal productions, including the massive Love Story - which today stands as an all-time club anthem. The'll be performing a 4 hour set in Sound Control's vaulted attic, supported by Studio Swiss and James Hollowood.

Leading the charge underground in Sound Control's atmospheric basement is  Funkineven, who'll be bringing his fractured boogie beats to  the Farm faithful. Whether he’s elegantly micro-sampling soul records into a techno tapestry, or forging Chicago 303s into his own mutant assault, he’s sure to give us a show. Joining Funkiven downstairs will be Hit & Run, Morris Cowan, Drumclinic and more.

In a unique twist to the regular barnyard banter, the whole event will be recorded alongside interviews with the DJs and partygoers, and buried somewhere in Manchester to show the future generations how we used to behave when we're all one foot in the rave.

However you won't have to weather the sands of time to enjoy the recording, which will be online for you to enjoy. But, if you really want your place in history then you'll have to come down and pick your spot on the farm floor.
