Skiddle at Threshold Festival

This year we'll be helping Threshold put together a panel during the daytime of the festival.

Threshold Festival remains one of our favourite soirées, Liverpool's joyous urban festival a celebration of grassroots arts every March. This year their creative convention 'Spark' returns with film screenings, a variation of panels and industry talks, one led by ourselves.

Threshold is considered well-established platform for emerging arts, showcasing creative talents of all stages at various venues in The Baltic Triangle. The link between the Nordic backbone of the festival and Liverpool as a city is something that we've previously explored ahead of the weekender.

We will be fronting a panel this year entitled Survival, where there will be an open discussion on carving out your place in the notoriously difficult to operate in music industry from 345pm in Baltic Creative.

Speaking will be outspoken rock commentator Jon Morter, behind the Rage against the X Factor Campaign, Berlin based electronic musician Modig, and Mellowtone promoter Dave Mctague (who we've spoken to previously), with festival organiser Kaya Herstad Carney adjudicating.

Theshold will also be screening Liverpool Beyond The Beatles and the world premier of Voilet City, a Gothic fantasy feature film, in the same venues one day later.
