Hyper J at 21 years young is taking the Urban Music Club Scene by storm but is at the same time level headed and I has a 2:1 degree under his belt. He has been an urban music DJ for & Years. His interest started at 11, when his brother DJ JP introduced him to UK Garage music mix cds such as "Lords of the underground" and "Ride the underground". Soon enough he started buying his own records by 14 and started to mix in the styles heard on pirate stations such as Ice, Freeze and Raw Mission Fm and Commercial ones such as the Tuff Jam and EZ shows on Kiss 10 as well as the Dreem Team show on Radio One. He ba
ses his mixing on originality and buy an extensive selection of music that reflect an overall impression of the Urban Music Scene. He is always trying new things- listening to other DJs and following there advice. He will NEVER play the same set twice. His sets can go from wiley, to fish go deep, to the fresh prince of bel air, to dipset, to tina moore, to ashanti to cameo! To put it simply...He'll mix anything worth mixing and is not restricted by genres. He's always looking to play something different in the club even just once- yes there are the usualclub bangers that every1 can predict but he stands out with a unique understanding of ravers, which is why you'll always see him at a set with about 300 records/cdjs- He never know what to expect. Hyper J fully respects new artists trying to do their own thing and always tries to support them in the club, by showcasing their tracks He mixes rnb, hip hop, bashment, funky house, oldskool garage and drum n bass He now finds himself aiming to be at the level of DJs he has long respected and admired. Never assume anything, and especially about him. Any feedback is always welcome because he does what he does for a continuous passion and love for music that has always been there in his life, and the way his music makes people enjoy nights out fully. Hyper J understands that he can always be better and ALWAYS improve.
