Boom, boom, boom, boom! Bonfire Night was banging, and now we’re looking forward to all the Christmassy and New Year’s Eve fun we can get into. We know, we know, it still seems a mile off, but trust us, it’s fast approaching. 

That’s why we’ve got a few banging NYE events in this week’s New On Skiddle. It’s also tours galore, with tours from Morgan Seatree, Kula Shaker, Billy Gillies, and Will Atkinson hitting the road. There’s also some banging 2026 festivals: Damnation, Mint, Terminal V, PRTY, and High Lights.

Damnation 2026

When: Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th November 2026

Where: BEC Arena in Manchester

Expect: disgusting riffs, underground and big names, independent fest, beefy mosh pits 

After wrapping up its 20th anniversary fest with Napalm Death, Perturbator, Corrosion of Conformity, and more, Damnation will return. Europe’s largest indoor metal fest hasn’t announced any names yet, which is why the ‘loyalty bird’ tickets are on sale soon - so you can save on tickets if you already know you’ll be there next year.

Terminal V Festival 2026

When: Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th April 2026

Where: Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh

Expect: incredible production, hard dance, five stages, 100+ acts

A different kind of heavy to Damnation, Terminal V is about those hard dance sounds. Sara Landry is the first headline announcement; she brings her show Eternalism to the fest for her only Scottish appearance of 2026. More names are coming…

PAWSA [Concourse Only]

When: Monday 29th December 2025

Where: Concourse Depot Mayfield in Manchester

Expect: no phones, tech house favourite, medium-sized room for more intimacy 

PAWSA returns for a no phones rave at The Warehouse Project’s Concourse. Stopping by just after Christmas, the tech house favourite brings catchy vocal hooks and rolling basslines.

When: Wednesday 31st December 2025 (New Year's Eve)

Where: Club Republic in Leicester

Expect: 2,000 ravers, one of the biggest NYEs in the Midlands, two rooms, big countdown 

For this NYE bash, music from Archie Hamilton, L.P. Rhythm, Ryan Resso B2B Chopper, and more will be spread across two rooms. Join 2,000 ravers for bangers, festival-level production, and the big countdown.

Our House NYE Old Skool Rewind Party

When: Wednesday 31st December 2025 (New Year's Eve)

Where: The Arches in Halifax

Expect: feel-good energy, old skool classics, retro-feel rave

NYE with Our House is looking tasty. With Rob Tissera, Dale Castell, Project D, Pete Monsoon, and more, this one promises old skool classics all night long until 2am. Dress code: retro rave, neon, glow sticks, whistles, and smileys.

Where: Ultra Warehouse in Derby

Expect: house favourites, Derby’s newest club, industrial warehouse

We Are WHSE continues to announce massive events at Derby’s newest club. Bringing East End Dubs, who’ll be joined by Omar+, SOSA, Joss Dean, and Ranger Trucco, the warehouse will be full of acid-tinged sounds fused with UKG groove, making EED’s distinctive house sound.

Kula Shaker: The Inner Circle Tour

When: multiple dates in November and December 2025

Where: Liverpool, Wrexham, Stoke-on-Trent, and Carlisle

Expect: up close and personal gigs, rare performances, mixed setlist 

Psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker reconnects with fans in more intimate settings. The 'Hush' and 'Hey Dude' band will play favourites, new cuts, deep cuts, and songs chosen by the audience in support of their upcoming album Wormslayer, which drops in January.

Morgan Seatree presents Unfussy: Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester

PRTY Festival 2026 - A New Era

When: Saturday 30th - Sunday 31st May 2026

Where: Riverside Museum in Glasgow

Expect: heavy tunes, open-air venue, heavily requested B2B headline

PRTY’s festival is back, but this time, it’s coming to Riverside Museum, a venue rooted in Scottish dance music history. So far, they've announced Basswell B2B Onlynumbers - a highly requested B2B - as its first headliner. Of course loads more acts spanning techno, hardcore, hard trance, hard dance, and bounce will be announced soon.

Mint Festival

When: Saturday 2nd - Monday 4th May 2026

Where: Newsam Green Farm in Leeds

Expect: house, tech house, techno, UKG, first festival of 2026, fave dance brands as stage hosts

The first festival of the season is already selling out quickly - including payment plans. So far, Ewan McVicar, Max Dean, Silva Bumpa, Shanti Celeste, Rossi.Morgan Seatree, and more have been announced. More names will drop soon.

High Lights Festival - Hybrid Minds: Atmosphere

When: Sunday 31st May 2026

Where: Barking Park in London

Expect: emotional DnB, soaring vocals, open-air summer celebration, breathtaking visuals

Hybrid Minds take their Atmosphere show outdoors for the first time at High Lights. The liquid DnB duo headline the summer day fest, with support joining. High Lights will hold six individual day festivals in May next year; this is just the first. Watch this space for more announcements.
