Rihanna makes chart history and scores quadruple Number One

Pop princess Rihanna scored a quadruple number one this week, holding the top slot in the Official Albums Chart, Official Singles Chart, Radio Airplay Chart and TV Airplay Chart all at the same time. 

What's more, the Caribbean born singer has also made history by claiming two further official Chart records. New album Talk That Talk debuted at Number One in the Official Albums Chart, making Rihanna the only female artist in Official Albums Chart history to have two different Number One albums in a calendar year.

Additionally, her single 'We Found Love' retained its position at Number One in the Official Singles Chart, meaning that she held the top slot in both the albums and singles charts for the second time this year; no other female artist in history has ever topped both charts twice in the same year with different singles and albums.

This achievement comes in the same week that Rihanna's new album Talk That Talk became one of the fastest selling albums of the entire year, selling over 100,000 copies in the first three days alone. Talk That Talk is Rihanna's third #1 UK album.
