On the night we'll be paying tribute to our 15 years under a groove and getting the founding father and original Funkademia DJ Payney back out of retirement to do a back in the day set playing all the big tunes that kick started the night back in the Boardwalk.

Joining Payney in the main room will be Jason Vereker who has been with Funkademia right through the Attic/Subspace/Zumeba/One Central/Mint Lounge days and will be putting together a best of funkademia set for the night.

In the back room we have a very special guest Terry Christian. Terry is well known for his passion for the Manchester music scene and has been a customer of Funkademia since day one. Terrys set will be his take on all things soulful.

Perhaps more commonly known for fronting the anarchic youth TV show The Word and more recently for bringing a welcome sense of northern normality to the celebrity circus that is Big Brother it is Terrys musical CV which has inspired us to sign him up for a birthday stint at Mint Lounge

There will be surprises on the night and it will sell out so get your ticket now....
