Farmfestival adds Crazy P to its lineup!

As Gilcombe Farm in Bruton, Somerset gets ready to host the next edition of Farmfestival, the organizers have been busy ensuring their lineup is as impressive as we’ve become accustomed to. What they have come up with is a tantalising eclectic lineup that perfectly fits the relaxed, sunsoaked Somerset farm.

Their latest revelation is one of our favourites yet, as we learn of the addition of the fabulous Crazy P to Farmfestival’s impressive bill.

Crazy P

After meeting at university, Chris Todd and Jim Baron, a.k.a Crazy P, decided to form a band that would combine some of their favourite styles into one live experience, which included elements of soul, disco and house. As years went by, the group grew in size to what it is now, a one of a kind live dance music experience that is regularly cited as one of the best dance music shows on the planet.

Crazy P will be bringing to Farmfestival their 15 years of combined party starting experience and contagious stage presence to the festival stage. With their music getting ever more complex and intriguing as time goes by, they still remain one of the best placed bands to get the crowd moving, having stayed true to their original ethos, which continues to gain new fans and maintain old. With rumours of a brand new album in production for this year, their set at Farmfestival is going to be one filled with exciting new music and reliably enjoyable classics.

This year’s Farmfestival is looking set to repeat last year's trick, by becoming the perfect soundtrack to your summer, a successful combination of relaxation and enjoyment and a festival experience to savour.

DJ Competition

Farmfestival has also unveiled a DJ competition, for all budding bedroom DJs to get their first taste of festival fame, by submitting your mix through the farmfestival website in order to gain the chance of performing in the main dance tent, as well as win weekend tickets for you and 3 others, plus a few t-shirts thrown in there for good measure.

All styles are welcome, but keep in mind that it needs to fit the mood of an early set (a mix crammed with breakcore and gabba probably won’t do you any favours). Mixes will be judged on technique, track selection, and suitability.
