Circus opens its tenth anniversary year for business this month, with a residents party at the Magnet on January 28th.

After a raging close to 2011 which saw Circus pack out The Camp and Furnace for its legendary Boxing Day party and an intimate NYE shindig at The Magnet with Chicago's finest Derrick Carter, Circus is going back to its foundations for this first party of 2012.

It’s back to the Magnet for this opening Residents Party too. After stealing the show at The Warehouse Project on New Year’s Day, Yousef maintains the form which has seen him right at the top of his career; now, with his second artist album almost wrapped, he will be showcasing some of the tracks at this party. The subterranean two-roomed space, fresh from its extensive refit in September, remains one of the city’s most favoured places to party.

Yousef is supported by the club’s quartet of residents; Mambo’s Alex Wolfenden, whose Acid Mondays music label is already a Ricardo Villalobos mainstay and is now signed to Circus Recordings. Lewis Boardman remains one of the club’s lynchpins, an exponent of tech-house excursions. Scott Lewis and Sean Stephenson complete this residents lineup, both integral components to Circus’ burgeoning success.

Tickets for the Circus Residents Party are available now through Skiddle.
