Thame singers pay tribute to US folk legend

Thame-based band Ian Entwistle and Friends are paying tribute to American folk legend James Taylor. Ian Entwistle has played the acoustic guitar for most of his life, and it has been one of his ambitions to put on a show which celebrates the songs of his favourite artist Taylor. During the past five years Ian has built up a repertoire of nearly 30 songs which includes all of Taylors successes. US singer and songwriter Taylor has had a variety of hits such as Youve Got a Friend and is also a five-time Grammy Award winner. He has also recorded songs alongside the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and Paul McCartney.

Ian Entwistle and Friends will be performing on September 30 at the Players Theatre, Nelson Street, Thame, from 7.15pm.
