Circus returns to The Masque for a bank Holiday special with James Zabiela

After its recent period of uncertainty, Circus has announced that it is to return to its spiritual home of The Masque for good. And just in time for Jubilee weekend, which sees James Zabiela and Adam Beyer join Yousef for a Circus Bank Holiday special.

The first bash of the summer sees a cracking ensemble lined up alongside the club’s lynchpin, emblematic of the cornerstones of quality which have been Circus’ mandate since 2002.

James Zabiela headlines the Jubilee weekend jovials. As an authority on all things Pioneer, he has been one of the most respected voices DJ technology of the past decade. His musical scope is fearlessly wide ranging, blending mesmerising techno with gut shaking house grooves. One of the first big league DJs to pick up on the nascent bass scene long before the mainstream saw the eye popping possibilities of dubstep and house colliding, James remains a risk taking pioneer.

Next up is Adam Beyer. Adam has been at the centre of all things techno for nearly two decades now, emerging as one of the defining forces in the realm of brutal beats. His powerhouse sets have been known to raid every component of the sound’s bright past  in recent times for a paradox of sound, hard and funky, sinister yet warm, crafting a sonorous and uncompromising template that continues to be copied but never mastered.

Yousef of course also stars, ahead of another busy summer of festivals, Ibizan showcases and international touring across every continent. Beyond that his second complete artist album is ready for release and his productions continue to showcase a musical maturity which sets him well apart from his peers.

Also returning to Circus is the jackmaster herself, Heidi. The tousle haired vixen's profile continues to rise, her ability to transmit personality into each and every set which making her such a hotly feted talent.

Catz and Dogz make their Circus debut, the Polish duo continuing to garner worldwide acclaim with their funk drenched house sound exciting all the key players in the world. Lewis Boardman, fresh off the announcement of his set in the Visionquest arena at Global Gathering, and local hero Scott Lewis, close off proceedings for this summer Sunday corker.
