Welcome to House Concerts (York) - and also information on all the gigs held at The Band Room in Farndale- the UK's smallest major venue. I have been involved with booking artists at the Band Room for the last couple of years - (Willy Mason, Jacob Golden, Iain Archer,Josefina Sanner, Beep Seals), but have now also set up House Concerts (York)with my partner Nicki, which is an independent venture.
- mainly acoustic artists - informal and relaxed gigs. Just 30 places maximum - no profit - just great music on ‘our’ doorstep. 20 minutes from the centre of York - 2 hours from London or Edinburgh by fast train.
The concerts are held in a small rural village just outside York - and offer the chance to see great artists in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. There is also a good local pub in the village, which serves excellent food.
