Emotiquon is not going out soon..
I'm Shaun Dimensional from Emotiquon; a synthesizer-crazed duo from Ayrshire in Scotland.
I love music. I grew up listening to obscure me
My favourite local (Glasgow) clubs are The Soundhaus, Sub Club, and The Arches. However, Glasgow has so many good quality clubs that whenever I'm in the city I'm spoiled for choice.
As far as favourite bands go, there are so many. It's impossible to list them all. Here are a few of the less obscure ones:
Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards Of Canada, Broadcast, Carcass, Eat Static, FC Kahuna, FSOL, The Go! Team, Hot Chip, Killing Joke, The KLF, Lemon Jelly, LFO, Luke Vibert, Maximo Park, Ministry, Modeselektor, Nightmares On Wax, NIN, OLD, Ozric Tentacles, Plaid, Plastikman, Radioactive Man, RevCo, Squarepusher, The Shamen, Soundgarden, Trentemoeller, UNKLE, Wagon Christ, White Zombie...
I also like extremely spicy and colourful food, real ale, working outdoors (I build gardens for a living), and talking. I especially enjoy talking. Oh yes.
Bleep me! GWAN' MY SELECTA!!!

After the success of our Altitude Festival debut, we're pleased to announce that Rupert & La (Grand National) have given us the go-ahead to remix any song of our choosing! We've decided to have a shot at their excellent "Drink To Moving On" track, from their debut album Kicking The National Habit. We're awaiting the original parts to the track from Rupert. The rather entertaining (Tetris inspired) video to the track is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=my2Kyae7m6M You can visit Grand National at: www.myspace.com/grand_national or www.grand-national.net OTHER NEWS: We've just completed our remix of the Glasgow electro/techno pioneer ESPION track "The Ascension". The single & remix will be available mid-May. You can hear more from ESPION at: www.myspace.com/espion EVEN MORE NEWS: We've been invited by Spanish DJ collective Buffetlibre to perform a cover version of an original 80's track for their forthcoming "REWIND" project (due for release in July). We're choosing an old Human League track "WXJL Tonight", taken from their 1980 album Travelogue. It's from a time when Phil Oakey worked with Ian Craig Marsh & Martin Ware (who then went on to form Heaven 17, of "Temptation" fame), We feel it's an apt choice, as: 1 - We're huge Human League fans. 2 - We've already released the Dimensional Love Machine remix of Heaven 17's "I'm Gonna Make You Fall In Love With Me"! (available to buy online NOW!) Buffetlibre are the Spanish DJ collective who gave us the original parts to Shitdisco's "Reactor Party". Our remix is currently gaining attention across the world-wide web, and has already been played on several radio shows and in clubs around the world!!! We feel it's an honour and a sign of respect to both Buffetlibre & The Human League to be asked to complete this exciting new task....
