Hello, I'm Broadcast Loft Party, thank you for checking me out here on myspace. I like to play quality dance music, whilst creating a warm and inviting party vibe for my friends to come and hangout in. I come from Brighton and my ethos of playing Nu Disco, Grown Up House Music, Electro-Funk, Balearic and New York Loft Party Classics is now set in place. Using the blueprint mapped out by my forefathers that include The Seminal Loft Parties of NYC, UK House Clubs of the 80's and 90's, and more recently a handful of Eclectic Music Based Dance Nights and Boutique Festivals, I'm continuing to offer an honest night out for all to share and take part in. Think loft party spirit with a non conformist approach, all tipped off with a house party mentality. I try to host nights in venues around Brighton that offer a unique atmosphere through their attention to detail whilst attracting like minded individuals who have the desire to dance to a different party beat whilst making friends and influencing nobody. I love vinyl as it sounds really cool on a good sound system but unfortunately when I play it loud my local council nearly made it impossible for me and others like me to have a good time spreading the good word. I've made friends with some pretty talented deejays in my time as well as inviting them to play for me occasionally. In the not too distant past I've got lost on the way to free parties, been chased by the police, thrown house parties that everyone turned up to at the same time and subsequently stayed at for far too long. I have been to some, great gay clubs where the music was why people were there and not the sex. I've spent far too much time in record shops buying music and planning parties when I should of been growing older gracefully. If you look below you'll see a short film of when a friend of mine came to play at a party we did not so long ago. His name's Greg and he plays music that my friends and I like a lot. Also he always gets people dancing after just two records no matter where he plays and I think thats very clever and worth anyone seeing.
