*The Royal Hotel is currently under going a bedroom refurbishment that should last for about 6weeks. Guests are not disturbed by the work, however we are still selling accommodation as normal but please take into consideration when booking for any weekend dates of the live music we have in the bar areas whilst the work is being carried out. The refurbishment should be complete by the end of July*.The Royal Hotel building dates back to 1750, it became The Swan Hotel in 1880, which later became The Royal Hotel in 1910. All 22 bedrooms are with en-suite, Tea and coffee facilities, TV, Hair dryer, Trouser press. The Royal Bar is open to residents/non residents Mon-Sun, Weekends The Royal bar is a venue for LIVE MUSIC Thurs - Sun. The bar is licensed until 3am only on Fri & Sat. *Please note reservations made on these days please ask for a quieter room if necessary. (subject to availability)*. Extensive Hot and Cold food is served all day from 12pm - 14:30pm 17:30pm - 21:30pm Mon - Sat and 1pm - 18:00pm Sunday.Heated patio smoking area available.
