The Old Crown Inn provides quality, low cost accomodation right in the heart of the City Centre of Sheffield. The Bed Breakfast is just a few minutes walk from the City Centres bars, nightclubs, theatres and restaurants. Just a 5 mins taxi ride from the main train and bus stations and just a few minutes walk from the tram and bus service, it makes any area of Sheffield accessable. Alternatively, you can relax downstairs where breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. The is also a plasma TV showing Sky Sports. Please note that the cafe bar is closed Sundays and sometimes closed Saturdays. In the event of this customers may be guided to rooms by telephone on arrival The Bed Breakfast has 8 modern rooms (one ensuite) with tea and coffee making facilities. Two new bathrooms have been installed. The pub dates back to 1787 and is the last of 15 pubs which once lined this historic street. It has now had a recent complete and sympathetic renovation. A traditional, historic Bed Breakfast in the heart of the city centre. Please note that we have a no smoking policy throughout the bed breakfast but there is a large smoking area outside.
