Set up in 1994, and our sister building the Annexe 2011 the city centre's hostel is run by helpful and experienced backpackers and over the years we have welcomed close to 60,000 people from all over the world.The Annexe is a 160 year-old, heritage-listed boutique hostel located less than 7 minutes' walk from vibrant Nottingham city centre. It offers comfortable accommodation with memory foam mattresses and free Wi-Fi.Each private room has a flat-screen TV, work desk and seating area. A shared kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, high standard bathrooms are shared and adjacent to rooms and there is a laundry service available on request.The Igloo and Annexe are environmentally aware hostels, using eco-friendly and recycled products where possible. We are proud to be 3-star accredited by Enjoy England.The Igloo Backpackers Hostel situated across the road has facilities including a games room, film lounge and free luggage storage. All facilities are available for the use of guests at the Annexe.PLEASE NOTE: NEITHER THE IGLOO OR THE ANNEXE ACCEPT STAGHEN OR PARTY GROUPS. MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE IS 6 PEOPLE.Historic Nottingham Castle is just a 15-minute walk through the town, and a 10-minute walk from the popular Galleries of Justice.
