| Kevin Godbold | Review of The White Swan Hotel Overall rating:  Hotel is nicely located in the centre of Halifax. Easy to find if you follow your satnav and ignore the 'pedestrian only' signs(!) Plenty of room to park outside while you book in. Warm friendly welcolme at reception. Car parked for you by a member of staff in secure location next to the hotel (which we found extreamely useful). Our 'executive double room' was ace: Approx 40ft x 16ft (roughly paced out)- plenty of space to live in. Nice clean comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe and draw capacity. Bathroom clean and spacious with mixer shower above bath. Clean comfy setee at other end of the room infront of a large new Panasonic LCD tele with access to Sky Sports. All the girls on reception were extreamely helpful and knowledgeable. The night porter was excellent. Service at breakfast could have been a little swifter. We would definately stay there again.
