We loved the fact that the hotel felt as though it was miles away from the centre of Durham and yet was only 10/15 mins walk from the Cathedral, it felt homely and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was really nice with plenty of space, breakfast was very good with,once again, very friendly staff. We had a meal in the restaurant on the Sunday evening which was excellent value. We would definitely go again and certainly recommend it. Read more...
