More a pub with rooms than a hotel, The Bull is an attractive former coaching inn built in 1398. Boasting a prime town centre location close to Braintree and 25 minutes from Stansted, the hotel offers 16 unique en-suite bedrooms, two inter-connecting function rooms with private bars, large gardens and intimate old-world bars that boast a modern feel enhanced by a giant inglenook fireplace. Please note that this is a lively pub and there is live music playing most weekends.The Bull Hotel can now cater for weddings with their brand new luxury summer marquee. The Marquee is available from April until November and can seat up to 60 people. Extensions to seat up to 120 people may be available on request.
