I stayed at Mercure for the night of 11th June with two friends. The rooms were spacious and very clean with superb shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a short distance from the centre but as we are elderly not really walkable as on a busy roundabout. However, we asked reception to call a taxi which was prompt and very reasonable. We paid £6.50 for a breakfast which was plentiful but the cooked breakfast was lacking - would have been nice to have some grilled tomatoes. Also when arriving back to the hotel from the show my friend wanted a vodka and the bar had run out of it!! However, all in all a pleasant stay and very good value for money.
