| Elizabeth Swanston | Overall rating:  The only reason i would recommend this is that it is close to train and airport and NEC, within walking distance. Recption staff were friendly but waiting staff and bar staff leave little to be desired. Booked into restaurant 7.30pm, ordered two main courses and a dessert, received them 8.30pm with no apologies. very rushed service, under staffed. Heard lots of comments from other guests about not recieving the right food, steak knives with their steak. recieving main courses when hadnt had starters. This may all have been a one off, but put us off dining again there. Our bed was hard and found it very difficult to sleep, the room itself was cold and cudnt turn heating up or down as it stayed at 24 degrees which it clearly wasnt as it was cold... We were disappointeed with this hotel and would only stay there again for the convenience of the NEC or Airport. Even at checkout, we wernt asked if everything ws ok. One plus was the shower was fab! | |||||||||||||||
