The Station Hotel is a grand Victorian building built in 1885 situated in the heart of Ayr town centre and conveniently located next to Ayr Railway Station. It is an ideal place to stay if you are visiting the legendary Ayr racecourse, which entertains the Scottish Grand National, Gold Cup and the Ayr Silver races. Prestwick International Airport is well-located, being a 10 min drive away or 8 min train ride. We are within walking distance from the main shopping centres, beach, a wide variety of entertainment facilities and just a 10 minute bustaxicar drive from the Robert Burns Museum and Robert Burns' Cottage. The hotel consists of 71 bedrooms, complete with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms can accommodate up to 5 people and we supply travel cots for families travelling with young children. Each room comes equipped with freeview television, radio, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, ironironing board and trouser press. The hotel benefits from wireless connections in the public areas throughout the hotel.The lounge bar creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere as it offers a variety of drinks and foods to cater to everyone's taste.
