The Brit Fest

The Brit Fest will take place at Ashley Hall Showground, Altrincham WA14 3QA from 2nd to 5th July 2026. Festival music arena doors open at 6pm on Thursday and 12pm each other festival day.  Campers can access the site from 10am on Friday and stay until 12pm on Monday. Thursday arrival for campers and live in vehicles are required for Thursday site access and tickets are required to access the Music Arena from 6pm.

If this is your first time — or you’ve never quite fancied a big music festival before — you’re in safe hands. The Brit Fest is friendly, easy to navigate, and set in a single large field we call the arena, where most of the action takes place. No endless trekking. No massive confusion. Just good energy and great company.

You don’t need to overthink it — grab a tent, a sleeping bag, some warm and dry clothes, and a ticket. That’s it.

Everything else is already there for you — food, drinks, toilets, showers, entertainment, even quiet spaces.

And once you’ve done it once, you’ll know exactly what to expect. For many, this becomes their annual staycation tradition — and every year, the tribe grows a little bigger.

This all happens in a field — and sometimes that brings a few challenges. Whether it’s a queue, a bit of mud, or something unexpected, please know we’re always doing our best behind the scenes.

No, The Brit Fest is a family-friendly event for all ages. 

LIVE-IN VEHICLES & CAMPING (Tents, Campervans, Motorhomes, Caravans)

To ensure a smooth check-in experience, The Brit Fest have dedicated arrival windows during which our full team will be on site to assist you, check you in and wrist band you:

Thursday: 12:00pm – 7:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

These are the only times when the full arrival check-in team will be operating. Please aim to arrive within these windows wherever possible.

Arriving outside these hours?

You may not be able to check in immediately, as our entry systems and team may be unavailable. If you’re likely to arrive late, email in advance at info@thebritfest.co.uk and they'll do their best to advise.

Overnight access?

The main site gate is closed nightly from approximately midnight to 7:00am. No access is permitted during these hours, so please plan ahead.

Re-entry for live-in vehicles?

Yes – but please be prepared to wait for the traffic team to guide you back in. If you cannot access the Live in Vehicle field, you may have to make your way to the main car park as a holding pad until such time allows re-entry.

Will there be a VIP Stage in 2026?

Yes! The VIP Stage is an exciting new feature for 2026 — an intimate, covered stage located within the VIP marquee, exclusive to VIP ticket holders. Expect exclusive performances, special guests, and a relaxed, up-close atmosphere throughout the weekend.

The full VIP line-up will be revealed in the spring, but confirmed headliners include Chris Helme (Friday), Nathan Moore (Saturday) — who will also perform on the main stage — and Cole Page (Sunday).

Will there be a Silent Disco in 2026?

Yes! The Silent Disco is back for 2026 and set to be one of the highlights of the weekend — bigger, louder, and more fun than ever.

Are the Busk Stops returning?

Absolutely! The much-loved Busk Stops will return for 2026, bringing brilliant local artists, acoustic sessions, and surprise performances across the festival site.

The full Busk Stop line-up and timetable will be announced in the spring.

Is the line-up complete?

The Main Stage line-up for 2026 is now announced — but there are many more site-wide performances, experiences, and surprises still to come.

General Arena Policy

For the general public, food and drink are not permitted to be brought into the main Arena from outside. The Arena is home to a fantastic selection of street food vendors offering a wide range of options – from hearty meals to lighter bites, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and kid-friendly choices. A full list of traders will be available on The Brit Fest website closer to the event.

Sealed bottles of water up to 500ml are allowed. 

Cool boxes, large bags, or picnic hampers are not permitted inside the Arena.

Medical and Dietary Requirements

We fully understand that some people have specific medical or dietary needs that may require them to bring their own food or drink. If this applies to you or someone in your group, you are permitted to bring in the necessary items, provided they meet the following guidelines:

Items must be for personal medical or dietary use only (e.g. coeliac-safe foods, insulin-dependent diabetes snacks, feeding supplements, etc.).

Please bring proof of medical or dietary requirement, such as a letter from a GP, a medical card, or an Access Card. This is to ensure a smooth process at the gates.

All bags are subject to search, and security may ask about any food or drink brought in.

If you’re unsure whether your needs meet the exemption, feel free to email in advance at info@thebritfest.co.uk so they can make a note for the team on-site.

Children and Families

The Brit Fest do allow baby food, formula, and child-specific snacks to be brought in for young children. Please ensure these are clearly identifiable during bag checks. Children are welcome to bring sealed cartons or bottles of soft drinks under 500ml.

Campers

Campers are welcome to bring food and drink into the campsite area (including cool boxes) for personal use. Please note that no glass bottles or containers are allowed anywhere on site. You’ll also find a range of food options available in the Campsite Food Court if you don’t feel like cooking.

Yes! The Brit Fest have a wide range of food and drink stalls, including options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. You are welcome to bring your own water and refillable bottles, but no outside alcohol is allowed.

For safety reasons, The Brit Fest unfortunately do not permit dogs or other pets on site. Given the large crowds, loud music, and unpredictable festival environment, it can be quite stressful for animals, and we want to ensure the safety and comfort of both festival attendees and pets alike.

The welfare of animals is a priority, and we believe this policy is in their best interest to avoid potential risks or distress.

The safety and security of The Brit Fest attendees is top priority. They will have security staff, first aid stations, and medical services available on-site. There will also be bag checks at the entrance to ensure everyone’s safety.

There’s so much more to The Brit Fest than the incredible Main Stage line-up! Across the weekend, you’ll find a huge variety of entertainment, activities and performances happening all around the site.

Expect acoustic stages, DJ sets, family fun, street performers, workshops, delicious food and drink zones, and much more – it’s a full weekend of music, laughter and summer celebration.

The Brit Fest VIP experience offers exclusive access to the VIP Garden, featuring boutique food and drink outlets, a relaxed social atmosphere, and a large shaded area – new for 2026.

Enjoy exclusive acoustic performances and DJ sets throughout the weekend, with a full VIP stage timetable announced closer to the festival.

All VIP guests have front-of-stage access via the new Golden Circle route, giving the best possible view of the main stage performances.

VIPs have access to private bars, comfortable seating areas, and dedicated VIP toilets within the VIP Garden.

Food and drink are not included, but a hand-picked selection of boutique food and drink vendors will be available for purchase throughout the weekend.

If you’d like to upgrade your existing tickets to VIP, this process is handled directly by Skiddle’s Customer Care team to make sure all ticket holders have the correct entry type.

To request an upgrade:

Include your order number and the email address used to make the booking.

Yes. All children aged 3 and over require their own VIP ticket to access the VIP Garden at The Brit Fest. Children under 2 go free and do not require an extra VIP ticket and can enter with their Parent/Guardian providing they have the valid VIP ticket. .

For The Brit Fest (Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July 2026), parking can be booked in advance on the ticket page.

Day or weekend parking passes are available at £10 per day or £25 for the full weekend. You can also pay on entry unless the car park is full. Please follow the signs for general parking and our stewards will assist you on arrival.

When purchasing a Brit Fest Club Group Package, you’ll receive a dedicated private table for 10 guests, which is exclusively yours for the day. Your table acts as your festival base, providing a relaxed, comfortable and sociable space throughout the event.

While the full route details are yet to be released, rest assured this bus service is designed to make your experience as smooth as possible.

Q: Where does the shuttle run from?

A: There are three main pick-up and drop-off points:

• Altrincham Interchange (bus, tram, and train station)
• Delta Marriott Manchester Airport Hotel (Hale Barns)
• Knutsford – Sainsbury’s Car Park

Q: What are the operating times?

A: All timings are published on the official Event Information page from May 2026. 

Q: Do I need to book in advance?

A: No booking is required. Just turn up at your chosen stop and hop on.

Q: How much is it?

A: There is no charge for this service. 

Q: Where do I catch the return bus from at the end of the night?

A: Return buses will leave from the Festival Bus Stop (see site map) from 10:45pm or 11pm (depending on route) each night.

While it’s hard to predict exact numbers needing the service at peak times, the team will be working hard to ensure everyone gets away safely. We kindly ask for your courtesy and patience if there’s a wait.

Hale Train Station is just 1.2 miles from The Brit Fest festival site, making it an easy walk or a quick taxi ride.

Altrincham Interchange is 2.2 miles away, offering access to trains, trams, and buses, giving you multiple options to reach the venue.

The Brit Fest is easy to access from key roads and motorways:

10 minutes from the M6.

Located close to the A56 and A50, providing easy routes from surrounding areas.

Is parking available for The Brit Fest Thursday show?

Yes. Parking for the all-new Thursday show on 2nd July 2026 at Ashley Hall can be booked online in advance for £10 per vehicle or paid on arrival (subject to availability). Follow the event parking signs and the team will direct you on arrival.

How do I book parking for The Brit Fest weekend?

For The Brit Fest (Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July 2026), parking can be booked in advance here.

Yes. If you have purchased a camping ticket, parking for one vehicle is included in your booking. You’ll park in the designated camping car park, located just a short walk from the camping area.

Can I park next to my tent?

No, unfortunately you cannot drive or park your vehicle directly within the main or accessible campsite. There is a short walk from the main car park to both camping areas.

If you have booked accessible camping and will require assistance on arrival, please email info@thebritfest.co.uk in advance so the team can help. We also recommend bringing a camping trolley to make unloading easier.

What if I have multiple vehicles with a live-in vehicle booking?

Only your motorhome or the car towing your caravan can enter the live-in vehicle area. Any additional vehicles must park in the campsite car park, provided that each driver holds a valid festival ticket and can show proof of the live-in vehicle booking upon arrival.

Yes, The Brit Fest offer on-site camping options! You can bring your own tent, caravan, or camper. The campsites and live in vehicle fields are open from 10am Friday until 12pm Monday. Make sure to book your camping or live-in vehicle pitch through the ticketing page. Thursday arrival is an option with the correct add-on ticket. 

Items NOT Permitted on the Brit Fest Site (including car parks and campsite)*:

• Open fires
• Glass bottles
• BBQs
• Drones
• Chinese lanterns
• Fireworks
• Disposable vapes
• Illegal substances of any kind
• Pets (animals or birds)

Gas Policy:

Only gas bottles up to 220g are allowed in the campsite for cooking purposes. Campers may use purpose-built gas stoves with 220g small bottles. IMPORTANT: Do NOT change gas bottles or canisters inside tents. BBQs and any other camping flames are strictly prohibited.

Pets:

The only animals allowed on site are Assistance Dogs, which must be pre-approved by the accessibility team before the event.

By entering the festival, you agree to adhere to these rules as well as the full terms and conditions of The Brit Fest, which are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

If you require accessible parking and haven’t booked it, don’t panic — The Brit Fest have a dedicated section within the general camping parking area set aside for accessibility needs. Just speak to the team on arrival and they’ll assist where possible.

⛺ Pitches & Wristband Check-In

While pitches are not individually marked out, The Brit Fest work to a general guide of 5m x 5m per tent. This is flexible, and groups are very welcome to pitch together, including setting up gazebos and storage tents to form a shared camping area.

🎟️ On arrival, your Camping Ticket QR code/s will be scanned and wristbands will be fitted directly to wrists by the team.

Please have your QR code/s ready — either as a screenshot or printed copy — as mobile signal can be intermittent when large groups gather.

Loose wristbands will not be handed out — all wristbands must be fitted by an official Brit Fest team member.

🤫 Quiet Hours & Quiet Camping Zone

To help everyone get a decent night’s sleep, The Brit Fest ask for quiet across the campsite from midnight onwards.

For those who prefer or require a calmer environment, there is also a designated quiet camping zone. Just ask on arrival and the team will guide you to that area.

Shower and toilet facilities are shared with the Live in Vehicles and are conveniently located between the Live-In Vehicle field and Camping area, ensuring easy access for everyone.

Please use these facilities responsibly and respectfully, keeping them clean for others and being mindful of water use.

🚨 During peak periods, there may be a short wait — thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

You’ll also find dedicated Elsan and waste disposal points within the Live-In Vehicle zone if required. Please make full use of these and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for all.

An accessible toilet and shower block is available for those who require it — even if it’s closer to your pitch, please respect this is for guests with accessibility needs.

Yes! No outside alcohol is permitted to be brought in to the music arena at The Brit FEst. There will be plenty of bars and drink options available at the festival!

The Brit Fest Gas Policy:

Only gas bottles up to 220g are allowed in the campsite for cooking purposes. Campers may use purpose-built gas stoves with small bottles.

No, cars must be parked in the designated parking areas nearby at The Brit Fest. However, this is a very short walk to the campsite.

Only vehicles with a pre-booked live-in vehicle pass will have access to the live-in vehicle area at The Brit Fest. However, cars towing caravans are permitted and may park next to the caravan they are towing. All other vehicles, including non-towing cars, must be parked in the general car park. Please ensure you have the correct pass to avoid any issues on arrival. If you need parking for your car, you can book a space in the general car park through our website.

Yes. If you’ve booked any form of pre-pitched accommodation with Tangerine Fields (such as a Bell Tent, Classic Tent, or any other glamping option) for The Brit Fest 2026, you will also need to purchase a Camping Ticket for each person staying in that tent.

Your Tangerine Fields booking covers your accommodation only — not your access to the campsite. The Camping Ticket is required to allow entry to the camping area and facilities for the duration of your stay.

Please ensure that:

You purchase one Camping Ticket per person in your group.

Your camping tickets match the same duration as your glamping or pre-pitched stay tickets (e.g. Weekend plus Thursday Arrival).

All of this is arranged prior to your arrival, as access cannot be granted without the correct tickets.

If you have already secured your Tangerine Fields booking but have not yet purchased camping tickets, please do so as soon as possible to avoid any delays or issues upon arrival.

The Brit Fest are committed to making the festival as welcoming and enjoyable as possible for everyone. 

Tickets & Carer Access

Accessible guests do not need to purchase a separate ticket type — simply buy the ticket you prefer, whether that’s General, VIP etc other than the accessible camping and parking as shown on the ticket page. 

If you require a Personal Assistant (Carer) ticket, this is provided free of charge with proof of eligibility. To arrange this, please email custcare@skiddle.com with your order number and the subject line “Brit Fest Carer Ticket.”

The Brit Fest also introduced a limited number of Accessible Parking and Accessible Camping options to help safely manage capacity and ensure everyone has space and comfort during the weekend. These can be selected when booking your tickets.

Accessible Viewing Platform (AVP) Access

If you require AVP access during the festival, this is managed upon arrival at the main entrance. Simply speak to a member of the team and request an AVP wristband, which will allow you access to relevant platform for that day.

The friendly staff will be available to help with this process and answer any accessibility-related questions upon arrival.

A dedicated Accessible Viewing Platform (AVP) will be available, offering a comfortable vantage point to enjoy Main Stage performances.

The AVP is not directly in front of the stage but provides a clear, elevated view.

Accessible toilets are located within the AVP compound for ease of use.

The platform will have limited availability, but we aim to ensure it remains a comfortable space for all who require it throughout the weekend.

Site Access & Terrain

The Brit Fest is held on natural ground, and weather conditions can impact accessibility around the site. While we take every step to maintain suitable access routes, ground conditions may vary.

Please note: the VIP area is the furthest distance from the main entrance and does not have a dedicated flat or solid ground route, so we recommend factoring this in when planning your visit.

On-site stewards will be on hand throughout the festival to provide assistance wherever needed.

Please note: On occasion, the AVP may reach full capacity, especially during peak performances. While The Brit Fest do everything they can to manage access fairly, they cannot guarantee space will be available at all times due to high demand and the platform operating on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is the AVP?

The AVP (Accessible Viewing Platform) is a raised, designated area in the main arena designed for guests who have accessibility requirements. 

How do I access the AVP?

When you arrive at the arena entrance, please use the right-hand lane where wristbands are issued. Here, you’ll be asked if you require AVP access. If so, you’ll be provided with a separate AVP wristband to allow access to the platform throughout the day or weekend depending on your ticket type. 

Do I need to register in advance for AVP access?

No formal pre-registration is required, but AVP wristbands are issued at the gate on a first-come, first-served basis to those with appropriate needs. If you have an Access Card, PIP confirmation, or similar, it’s helpful to bring it with you for reference, though not always necessary.

Is there a limit to how many people can use the AVP?

Yes. To keep the platform safe and comfortable, space is limited. Only the person requiring AVP access and one essential companion are permitted on the platform. We ask that other friends and family enjoy the show from the general viewing areas.

Can my carer or companion join me on the AVP?

Yes, one essential companion may join you on the platform. They will be issued a wristband alongside yours at the entrance.

How do I get to the AVP once inside the arena?

The AVP is accessible via matting from the arena entrance, making the journey easier for wheelchairs and mobility aids. Our stewards will also be available to guide you if needed.

Are there toilets near the AVP?

Yes, there is a dedicated accessible toilet located right next to the AVP. This toilet is strictly for use by AVP guests to ensure accessibility at all times.

Can I bring a chair or wheelchair onto the AVP?

Absolutely. The AVP is suitable for both wheelchair users and those bringing their own folding chairs. There may also be limited seating available for general use, but bringing your own is always recommended if possible.

Can I leave and return to the AVP during the day?

Yes. Once you have your AVP wristband, you can return as needed throughout the day. Please be mindful that during headline sets the platform may reach capacity, so returning early is advised if you need a guaranteed spot.

Is the AVP covered or sheltered?

No, the AVP is an open-air space like the rest of the arena. Please come prepared for sun or rain, and feel free to bring a poncho, hat, or small umbrella.

What if I need help while using the AVP?

Stewards are positioned nearby throughout the day and are happy to help with any access-related issues. Please just flag someone down if you need support.

Yes. The Brit Fest are proud to offer complimentary carer tickets to ensure that everyone can enjoy The Brit Fest safely and comfortably.

Carers do not need to pay for a ticket, but the correct process must be followed:

The main ticket holder should first purchase all required tickets, such as Weekend Entry, Day Entry, or Weekend Camping.

Once purchased, email custcare@skiddle.com with the subject line “Brit Fest Carer Ticket”.

Include your Skiddle order number, booking email, and proof of eligibility (for example, PIP, DLA, or Blue Badge).

Once verified, Skiddle will issue complimentary carer tickets that exactly match the ticket(s) purchased — for example, one Weekend Entry and one Accessible Camping ticket purchased will be matched with one equivalent carer ticket.

Carer tickets cover the same level of access as the main ticket — including festival entry and camping where applicable — and must be obtained directly through Skiddle’s Customer Care team for verification.

All tickets are subject to a booking fee (excluding complimentary carer tickets).

Is parking at The Brit Fest included with my accessible camping ticket?

Yes, parking is included in your accessible camping ticket. The parking area is located within the camping car park, but please note that this is not the dedicated accessible parking area. However, it is close to the camping site for your convenience.

Can I drive up to my tent pitch?

No, you won’t be able to drive directly to your tent pitch. However, we can provide on-site assistance if you need help transporting your belongings to your pitch. Once you’ve parked in the campsite parking, simply head to the Festival HQ Office (clearly signposted), and our team will be happy to assist you.

Where is the accessible camping area located?

The accessible camping area is a designated section of the campsite that’s closer to the Music Arena and WC amenities for your convenience. While this area does not currently have dedicated shower facilities, it is still very close to the main campsite amenities, including showers and other facilities.

Where do I go for assistance?

Once you’ve parked in the campsite parking, you can head directly to the Festival HQ Office only if additional assistance is required (signposted at the entrance). The team is ready to provide any assistance you may need, including help with transporting your belongings to your tent pitch. Otherwise, head to the campsite check-in.
