Where fury meets fun, Manchester-based hard-reading, no bullshit political punk “for peace” Hungry fuze post punk, math-rock, funk, and energetic new wave guitar pop with furious lyricism and a relentless live show.

‘Emigrating’ from the small Cambridgeshire towns that had no chance of containing them over a year ago, HUNGRY – including drummer Stan Rankin, guitarist Kit Thomas and bassist Jas Malig - react to both the lethargy of England’s repressed, close-knit societies and the vitality of life in a diverse city that has offered them a bigger and louder platform. 

Open Fly

Open Fly are a fierce femme punk/noise rock band based in Manchester, and they don't half mean business!
The four piece take influences from grunge and riot grrl and 90s bands such as L7, Veruca Salt and Sonic Youth. Mixing them all together for an enthralling combo I know you're gonna love.
Open Fly is about individuality, female empowerment and disgusting guitar tones

The Yowies

A creature hunted for generations and millennia,
Only rarely sighted in hearsay and many a
Fabled tale that ended in fantasy and lord knows,
Til’ someone spun a disco ball and tempted them from the shadows,
Now out and about you may too spot a Yowie,
Playing the soundtrack for dinner with Miss Winehouse, Nile Rodger’s and a Young American’s Bowie,
They got a slick groove, a few filtered riffs, blinding drums and a proto-funk sound,
The vibe’s smooth with a quick spliff, those hiding Yowies, have now been found.
