The Thelonious Monk 60th Anniversary Tour - Performed by Banquet

The Thelonious Monk 60th Anniversary Project Tour celebrates the 60 years since Thelonious Monk's landmark 1966 UK tour. The project will recreate Monk's original setlists and performing in the towns and cities when he first arrived in the UK. As part of this project, we aim to perform in the same cities-and where possible, the same venues-visited during Monk's original tour. The band that will be performing on the night go by the name Banquet - that is a talented jazz fusion band in their own right but have taken great pleasure in joining the project in celebrating this momentous occasion.
