The Y2K Collective are a group of DJs and promoters who fell in love with clubs around the turn of the millennium. They now play DJ sets, throw parties and write about electronic music from and inspired by that era.
Their first party of 2026 will take place in Liverpool with the original dons of breakbeat, The Stanton Warriors!
For the past 25 years, no one has connected the dots between UKG, house, techno and nu skool breaks quite like the Stantons. Their productions, including the rulebook-shattering 'Da Antidote' to the anthemic 'Bring me Down', dominated dancefloors, as did a remix catalogue that includes Gorillaz, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers. Their Stanton Session mix CDs helped bring breaks to a wider audience and their DJ sets bring a no-nonsense, high-octane energy that turns every event into a full-scale riot.
They'll join the usual Y2K ensemble of party-starters for a daytime party, with (weather permitting) an outdoor space.
