Review of No/Gloss Film Festival - Leeds\' Independent Film Festival

It was my 3rd one, I bought my ticket in June and drove with my friends all the way from Manchester each day. I'm massively disappointed with the venue, film selection, lack of film makers present, bad organisation.  I loved this festival for Indie vibe, great venues and the fact it was entertaining and informative but this year was just more commercial. I also cant believe you  were giving away popcorn in PLASTIC BAGS so at one point about 50 people were opening them and eating them at the same time making  noise that just ruined the movie showed at that time.Maybe someone once will make a movie about this horrific experience. In comparison to previous years I felt it was just done for the sake of making money not for promoting Indie cinema. Fact that you didn't even know if film makers were at the screening was just wrong. I'm truly gutted it all didn't work out this year. Yes, you were sold out but I think soul of the festival was gone at the same time.
