SOUQSOUNDS PRESENTS… SUMUD

In May, we'll be hosting two events across Leeds and London, featuring Yung Yusuf performing his latest album, 'Sumud'.

Yung Yusuf is a Palestinian-English rapper making political and personal music from his base in London. The young rapper has channeled his anger towards the genocide in Gaza into his upcoming album 'Sumud', his most personal work to date.

We'll also have a live Q&A session with Yung Yusuf before the performance. Here, we'll delve into the album's context and explore how creativity serves as an important outlet for the Palestinian community, especially in this moment. 

All proceeds from both events will be donated and split among local charities supporting Palestinians and a selection of GoFundMe campaigns.

Come hungry! There will be food at both events - all money raised from this will go towards the fundraiser.
