Review of The Nightvision Christmas Party ft GREG WILSON
I was so excited for this event mainly due to the venue and purchased the tickets weeks in advance for my friends birthday. When we got there my tickets had already been scanned hours before we arrived and my name wasn't on the list (?). Door staff were very reluctant to help at all (which I kind of understand). If my friends hadn't kicked up a fuss we never would have got in (I was set to just cut my losses and go elsewhere). I still don't really think the organisers believed me but rather let us in to stop us creating a fuss at the entrance. Never experienced that before and it made me feel like a fraud even though I purchased the tickets directly through skiddle and had not shared them with anyone else. Probably not anyone's fault but put a slight negative spin on the night (for about 15 minutes) and makes me question the security of purchasing tickets online. Other than that absolutely amazing venue and dj! The bouncers, crowd and bar staff were great as well. Pity it couldn't have lasted till 3am.
