Cinch presents Creamfields North returns for another colossal, 70,000 capacity sell-out festival experience this August Bank Holiday weekend - running from Thursday 25th - Sunday 28th August 2022 - and to celebrate its 25th year in the business, they've recently announced a brand new stage for the upcoming event.

Having already dropped one of the biggest festival lineups of the summer, Cream HQ has just unleashed plans for a massive 20,000-capacity outdoor stage named the ‘Runway’ stage, which is set to be presented by fashion brand, SHEIN.

Renowned worldwide for its mind-blowing festival production, with Arc and Steel Yard just two of their creations now firm fixtures, this year's event sees Creamfields continuing to push the boundaries, joining forces with stage and visual art supremos, Lucid Creates.

Lucid – whose expertise lies in stage design and bringing to life some of the largest and most visually exciting stages in the UK - is solely responsible for creating the festival's latest outdoor venue - an imposing large-scale industrial structure dominated by a huge overhead video screen. Enveloping fans by day, the structure then fades into the darkness as night falls, leaving the suspended visual spectacular to take over.

Likely to be one of the biggest production developments on the UK festival scene since the introduction of Steel Yard in 2016, ‘Runway’ is set to be the backdrop, and in many cases centrepiece, of many iconic moments in dance music to come.

A wealth of top-drawer DJs will bring a second-to-none soundtrack to the stage's first-ever outing. On Friday, Jamie Jones and his Paradise brand will take control, hosting the likes of Loco Dice, Alan Fitzpatrick back-to-back with Richy Ahmed, Sosa and Alisha. Saturday sees Geordie fan-favourite, Patrick Topping making his debut on 'Runway' with his Trick label pals, Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing, DJ Minx, and legendary producer/selector, Skream. Rounding the weekend off on Sunday, another hosting debut from Solid Grooves, with Michael Bibi and PAWSA joining the likes of Seth Troxler, Hot Since 82, Wheats, Blackchild and Lindsey Matthews.

Raising the bar of what seems possible at open-air festival events globally, with particular regard to stage production, Creamfields is once again proving why it is one of few leading brands in its field. Looking to build upon the customary aspects of a music festival experience, Creamfields is now a must-see sensory spectacle delivering much more than memorable DJ sets, courtesy of some of the best names in the scene.
