My Life Charity Wigan

My Life is a charity based in Standish, Wigan. Their is to help to reduce social isolation and loneliness by providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to connect, develop friendships, have fun, and do something meaningful with their day.

They provide a range of fabulous experiences and workshops at two sites in Standish and in Leigh, designed to make people feel happier and healthier, and meet the needs of those who are experiencing difficulty due to personal disadvantage, vulnerability, health problems, loneliness and isolation, disability and crisis. This includes: fully accessible carriage driving and a wide variety of activities, such as music, dance, drama, arts and crafts, bushcraft, orienteering, cooking, horticulture, animal care, and much more. They also provide further education opportunities for young people aged 16-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
