About

"Some of the most chaotic, disconcerting, fun and positively danceable music of the year." - Independent Music News

Erotic Secrets of Pompeii play wild, weird apocalyptic lounge music - a twisted amalgamation of angular art rock and transgressive post-punk, transmitted directly from the heart of the forbidden zone.

Their music is populated by grotesque imagery and vivid symbolism, drawing from artists across different mediums, such as Lynch, Dali, Bacon, Blake, Cronenberg, Jodorowsky, Mapplethorpe.

The band released their debut EP, Trash Jugular, at the end of 2022 which was followed by a UK headline tour in early 2023, appearances at major festivals including Boomtown and Bearded Theory, and a supporting slot with Electric Six on their UK tour.

Their debut album Mondo Maleficum is out in January 2024, and their music has received support from BBC Radio 6, Radio X and BBC Introducing.

"Through the circus tent curtains of their raunchy English wasteland ranch, through their plagued masquerade; their dandyish, idiosyncratic convergence of Panic Movement and Pop Art, the odd and occult, their own film set... they have unlocked an uncompromising noise unlike much else." - Louder Than War

"...something thoroughly artful and agitated." - Destroy/Exist

Plus special guests ZVILNIK

Sci-fi-surf-cabaret-rock. Superconductors of eccentricity.
