Snug Live Sessions w/YAANG + Mondo Kain
Music Genres
YAANG - Live at The Snug
It's already been a standout year for YAANG. Recently named on the NME 100, where they were tipped as "one of the most exciting bands to come from the North West", the Manchester punk trio have quickly built serious momentum.
Their growing list of radio supporters includes Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq, Emily Pilbeam, Indie Forever, New Music Fix (BBC Radio 6 Music) and John Kennedy (Radio X), alongside praise from The Line of Best Fit, DIY, Louder Than War, and even Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran.
YAANG formed after Davey Moore (vocals / sampler) met Oliver Duffy (guitar / vocals) at a rhythmic awareness class at the University of Salford, with the line-up later completed by Ben White (ex-Working Men's Club) on bass. Since then, they've earned a reputation for furious, high-energy live shows - driven by pounding drum loops, clangorous guitars and a sharp sense of humour.
This show sees YAANG bring that intensity to an intimate room, where their live set hits hardest.
Support comes from upcoming, local hardcore punk band Mondo Kain bringing loud, fast-paced energy to set things off right.
