Born in France, raised in Ecuador, Nicola Cruz seems to have the journey coursing through his veins. And this is never more obvious than when you're listening to his tunes. 

From deep analogue explorations using field recordings and heavy textures, to direct, driving and complex minimalist techno weapons with South American roots, his sounds and sets are anything but sedentary. 

Tracks that make you move and take you somewhere special, as proven on outings from Cabaret Recordings to the exalted Kalahari Oyster Cult. Transferred into a DJ set, expect a transcendental ride through the wormhole, and out the other side.
