YDNY - The Summer Party

We return on Saturday June 15th for more YDNY shenanigans and our Summer party @thecarltonclub.

Firstly we have AKAJackie. 
AKAJackie is a Manchester based DJ with a passion for a multitude of genres of music including house / disco / electronic amongst others. He has recently played at Sheaf St in Leeds and at 110 Above Festival. He is busy on the local scene in Manchester where he has been invited to play for Studio Honey at Ramona and for Sticky Heat at the Refuge. He has also played for the LGBTQ+ night “What she said” and with his friends Supernature Disco at Syndikat in Stockport. His recent Solo Stream at Head in Stretford for Club Solo went down a storm with the crowd. As well as performing as a DJ, AKAJackie plays the clarinet full time in the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

We also have a second guest which is Neil Willis aka La Famila Musica. Neil (La Familia Musica) has been DJing and promoting since the early 90s. Initially DJing for mates at their club nights alongside some of the big names of that era, playing US House and Garage; Neil then joined a close friend running successful club nights across Yorkshire, through to the late 90s when he took a break and focussed on family life! Neil returned to the club scene in the 2010s and in 2018 jointly promoted a sellout night in Rossendale (where he now lives) with Graeme Park headlining. Neil also linked up with YDNY to launch a night in the Ramsbottom suburbs. Neil continues to have a passion for US house but loves to play disco or funk influenced house.

If that wasnt enough, on the night we will also have our residents the scouse power house Neil Craven and YDNY head honcho Rob Jones.
