Terry Francis is a highly respected British DJ and producer widely recognised as a pioneer in the tech house scene. Born on 28 July 1966 in England, he began DJing in the early 1990s and helped define underground house sounds with his innovative mixing style that blends techno, house, and deeper grooves. Francis co-founded the influential Wiggle club night and label with Nathan Coles, which became a cornerstone of the UK scene. In 1997 he won Muzik Magazine’s “Best New DJ” award, and in 1999 he started a long-running residency at London’s iconic Fabric club, a position he’s held for over two decades. In addition to his DJ work, he has released acclaimed mix albums, including titles in the Architecture series and Fabric 02, and produced music under his own name and various aliases such as Housey Doingz.
