Inclusive By Design

Inclusive By Design is an accessibility masterclass for future Event Professionals. At Inclusive By Design, we believe that accessibility should not be the final touch, but the foundation of great event design. Through discussions with the experts and educational workshops and networking opportunities, Inclusive By Design will ensure that future event professionals go into the workforce confident in creating events that are accessible and inclusive to all. Inclusive By Design is an educational safe space, attendees should come with an open mind and willingness to learn to get the most out of the day.

What to expect :

• Panel discussion and Q&A
  • We will be joined by Orla Pearson, Catherine Grinyer, Martin Austin MBE and Samie Boyd, leaders in accessibility in live events. We will discuss what is being done in industry currently to create accessible live events, where we need to improve and so much more!
• Inclusive Event Design workshop
  • This session puts what you've learnt and more into a practical perspective. From planning to delivery, you'll see how you can create events that are accessible and inclusive.
• Deaf Accessibility session
  • This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Deaf Community and how Deaf people experience live events.

Inclusive By Design will be a brilliant day to expand your knowledge on accessibility and gain valuable skills to prepare you for work in the industry.

14:30 : break

14:50: breakout sessions begin

16:30 : end of breakout sessions, attendees are welcome to network and reflect on the afternoon

17:00: Closing up!
