About

TSU brings you a night like no other, showcasing the best talent in the jungle scene across the UK for b2b battles to see who will be crowned champion!

Back in October TSU ran the first edition of ‘Jungle Battles’ to a sell-out crowd with raving reviews, so it is back and bigger than ever, taking place in MCR's favourite DJ Mag’s best club in the UK of 2023 - Hidden.

Full lineup…

L Major vs Toby Ross

Da Demolition Squad vs Militant Music

Bruk vs Fez The Kid

Asandia (aka. Nala) vs Sim Only vs JC

About the lineup...

There’s a blistering urgency to the sound of LMajor which is apparent the second one of his weapons-grade cuts starts rolling. As well as the WNCL releases, LMajor forms a central part of the Club Glow crew alongside Borai, Denham Audio and Mani Festo. He will be up against Toby Ross, a figure who has already established himself in the scene early doors with massive releases on labels such as Shall Not Fade, Motive Hunter & SSBB. These two really are two massive heavyweights in the scene, we cannot wait for them to clash in April.

Bruk stands as one of the prominent underground figures to emerge from the Bristol scene, taking the lead with his own brand, Kurb, and holding residency at Exodus Records. His distinctive production style and records have sent ripples through the scene, amassing tens of thousands of listens online. He will face off against fellow Kurb member, Fez The Kid, who is set to make his debut in Manchester. Fez has been killing it over the past year, achieving over 100k listens on his most recent release on Brainiac Records and unveiling a two-track EP on Exodus Records. Positioned as one of Bristol's rising stars, we can’t wait for him to land in Manchester.

The Demolition Squad has been leading the charge in the jungle music scene for the past three years, consistently delivering releases from top-notch artists like 4am Kru, Papa Nugs, and Janaway. A surprise guest, who has previously released on Demolition, will go head-to-head with Militant Music—a label that has truly found its identity and established itself as a major player in the London jungle scene. Militant Music showcased its prowess with the release of the 'Militant Minds' album in 2022, accompanied by live performances in Lithuania, Bristol, and London, demonstrating their skill to captivate audiences. The anticipation is high as these two influential labels prepare to clash at Hidden in April.

Asandia (aka.Nala) has put her staple on the MCR scene with her blend of breakbeats and basslines which have led to her performing for Keep Hush, 23 Degrees and Komavictim. Since then she has started her own shows with “Milage Events” putting on electro funk nights in Manchester. She will be up against Sim Only, who made her debut for us back in November, but since has been booked by the likes of Ghosts of Garage and Warped to testify to her selection ability. TSU resident JC will round off the battle for his first performance with us after his Bristol hiatus working with Exodus Records and Zone1.
