The Fault Lines Touring Exhibition premieres at George Thornton Art Gallery, King Street, Manchester on Tuesday 5th December. The exhibition features a collection of original paintings, signed limited editions and bespoke embellishment works by visual artist Damien McGinley. His subjects are all male icons lost to the world through suicide, and include figures such as Ian Curtis, Robin Williams, Vincent Van Gogh and Kurt Cobain. The exhibition aims to increase dialogue about male suicide, which has accounted for nearly three quarters of all suicides in the UK since the 1990s. A proportion of all limited edition sales will go to Mind in Salford, a local charity supporting people’s mental health and wellbeing. The Fault Lines exhibition runs until Friday 15th December before touring nationwide.
