About

Sour Grapes Records presents...

Naked Soft Men (France)

In the distant din of an insomniac city, the Naked Soft Men frequency oscillates between Post-Punk and modern Garage in search of a certain collective frenzy with the allure of a cathode-ray storm. Souls in search of nonsense, lose yourself to the strident guitars and inexhaustible drums that dance on a tightrope between the furious energy of Idles and Fat White Family-ish sick rock. After their debut EP 'Kapsalon' released in 2022, Naked Soft Men will present the EP 'Bad Daddy' in 2024, a second exploratory stage in the band's neuroses and aesthetic principles. First single and official music video out on all platforms.

Fruit

Formed in late 2022, Fruit are a five-piece band based in the North-West of England (Manchester/Liverpool). The band started in Leicester where musicians Josh Withers (vocals), Jimmy Danger (Baritone Guitar), and Alex Hemley (bass) began writing together through a shared passion for experimental music. The three moved to the north, going on to recruit Finn Alderson (Guitar) and George Dimmock (drums) who had been involved in their own local scenes in Norwich and Kent respectively.
Though the band haven't been playing together long they have quickly developed a recognisable sound, packed with swathes of dissonance, noise, and poetry. The combination of these elements has so far culminated in their debut single 'Bleak' released February 17th.
The band have a number of gigs booked in spring 2023, playing in Manchester, Liverpool and Leicester. - Hash Brand New
