Yrsa Daley-Ward, a Jamaican-Nigerian writer and poet, is known for her acclaimed works “bone” and “The Terrible” and for contributing to Beyoncé’s Black Is King. She explores overlooked aspects of the human condition in her writing, addressing topics such as mental health, sexuality, love, grief, and addiction. Her dreamy poetic newsletter ‘the utter’ goes out to thousands of subscribers twice weekly.
